TB-500 10mg

TB-500 is a synthetic 7-amino-acid peptide (Ac-LKKTETQ). It matches residues 17 to 23 of thymosin beta-4, so it is a short fragment of that protein and a different molecule from the full 43-residue thymosin beta-4.

Short answer

TB-500 is a synthetic N-acetylated heptapeptide (Ac-LKKTETQ) matching residues 17-23 of mature thymosin beta-4, sold here as a 10mg lyophilised vial from A$98 for laboratory research. Every batch is tested by [lab] before sale, and its certificate is linked below.

What is TB-500?

TB-500 is a synthetic 7-amino-acid peptide (Ac-LKKTETQ). It matches residues 17 to 23 of thymosin beta-4, so it is a short fragment of that protein and a different molecule from the full 43-residue thymosin beta-4.

It also appears in the literature as TB500, Ac-LKKTETQ, N-acetyl thymosin beta-4 (17-23), Ac-Leu-Lys-Lys-Thr-Glu-Thr-Gln-OH.

What has research on TB-500 examined?

TB-500 has been examined mainly in analytical and anti-doping studies and in rodent and in vitro work (e.g. metabolite profiling in rats, rat Achilles tendon models). Controlled human trials identified on PubMed concern full-length thymosin beta-4 (a 43-residue protein, e.g. a phase I intravenous study in healthy volunteers and phase II wound and dry-eye trials). None tested the TB-500 fragment.

The table lists primary sources by year and model. Findings describe the study subjects, not this research vial.

What adverse events have studies of TB-500 reported?

No study of the TB-500 fragment (Ac-LKKTETQ) reporting adverse events in humans was found. Trials of full-length thymosin beta-4, a different 43-residue molecule, reported infrequent mild-to-moderate adverse events with IV dosing in 40 healthy volunteers (PMID 20536472) and no adverse events with 0.1% eye drops in dry eye (PMID 26056426).

These findings describe the people or animals in each study. The sources list gives every PubMed record.

How do you reconstitute and store TB-500?

Store the sealed vial frozen (about -20 degrees Celsius), dry and away from light until it is reconstituted.

After reconstitution with a sterile solvent, keep the solution at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Record the solvent, volume and date on the vial label.

BAC Water is the usual laboratory solvent. Dilute acetic acid is an alternative for peptides that dissolve poorly in water. The reconstitution guide and storage guide cover laboratory handling.

TB-500 has its own Schedule 4 entry in the Poisons Standard, and thymosin beta-4 has a separate one. Both are listed in Appendix D clause 5, which makes possession without authority an offence. Source: the June 2026 Poisons Standard instrument (F2026L00633).

WADA's 2026 Prohibited List prohibits TB-500 at all times, under class S2.3.

How fast does TB-500 ship?

Orders placed before [cut-off] leave Western Australia the same business day with tracking, by [carrier]. Delivery estimates for each state are on the shipping page.

How does TB-500 compare?

TB-500 questions

How does TB-500 differ from BPC-157?

They are different molecules. TB-500 is a 7-amino-acid fragment of thymosin beta-4; BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide described as a fragment of a gastric protein. Both are Schedule 4 and in Appendix D in Australia. The BPC-157 vs TB-500 comparison sets their research side by side.

Is TB-500 available in Australia?

Yes. Peptides Collective sells TB-500 in Australia for laboratory research use only, at A$98 for 10mg, with a certificate for every batch. TB-500 has its own Schedule 4 entry in the Poisons Standard, and thymosin beta-4 has a separate one. Both are listed in Appendix D clause 5, which makes possession without authority an offence.

Is TB-500 a peptide?

Yes. TB-500 is a peptide of 7 amino acids.

Is TB-500 a prescription medicine in Australia?

TB-500 has its own Schedule 4 entry in the Poisons Standard, and thymosin beta-4 has a separate one. Both are listed in Appendix D clause 5, which makes possession without authority an offence. Peptides Collective sells it for laboratory research use only.

Is TB-500 banned in sport?

WADA's 2026 Prohibited List prohibits TB-500 at all times, under class S2.3.

What is the CAS number for TB-500?

The CAS number for TB-500 is 885340-08-9. Its PubChem CID is 62707662.

How long does an unopened TB-500 vial keep?

A sealed vial of lyophilised powder keeps to the date on its label when stored frozen, dry and dark. Once reconstituted, keep the solution at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and record the date on the label.

Does every TB-500 batch have a certificate?

Yes. Every TB-500 batch is tested by [lab] before it goes on sale, and the certificate is published under the batch number printed on the vial. The current batch certificate is [pending].

Where is TB-500 shipped from?

Orders ship tracked from Western Australia. Orders placed before [cut-off] leave the same business day. Delivery estimates by state are on the shipping page.

What purity is the current TB-500 batch?

The current TB-500 batch certificate is [pending]. When it is published, it reports purity by HPLC to three decimal places and confirms identity by mass spectrometry.
