Short answer

GHK-Cu is a copper(II) complex of the endogenous tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine (GHK), sold here as a 50mg lyophilised vial from A$58 for laboratory research. Every batch is tested by [lab] before sale, and its certificate is linked below.

What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of GHK, a tripeptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) first identified in human plasma.

It also appears in the literature as prezatide copper, GHK-Cu, GHK copper, copper tripeptide-1, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper.

What has research on GHK-Cu examined?

GHK was identified in human plasma in the 1970s-1980s as a copper-binding tripeptide, and its copper complex has been studied in cell culture, animal wound models and in vitro human skin penetration. Most published work is cell and animal research plus reviews; large controlled human trials were not found.

The table lists primary sources by year and model. Findings describe the study subjects, not this research vial.

What adverse events have studies of GHK-Cu reported?

We found no study abstract that reports adverse events for GHK-Cu. The human studies found are small topical skin-care studies whose abstracts give no adverse-event data. In cultured human skin cells (keratinocytes), GHK-Cu was not cytotoxic (PMID 27892491). A 2026 review says rigorous human safety data for such unapproved peptides are scarce (PMID 41966639).

These findings describe the people or animals in each study. The sources list gives every PubMed record.

How do you reconstitute and store GHK-Cu?

Store the sealed vial frozen (about -20 degrees Celsius), dry and away from light until it is reconstituted.

After reconstitution with a sterile solvent, keep the solution at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Record the solvent, volume and date on the vial label.

BAC Water is the usual laboratory solvent. Dilute acetic acid is an alternative for peptides that dissolve poorly in water. The reconstitution guide and storage guide cover laboratory handling.

GHK-Cu is not named in the Poisons Standard. Schedule 4 lists copper compounds for human use, with exceptions; whether a GHK-Cu product falls inside that entry has not been confirmed. Source: the June 2026 Poisons Standard instrument (F2026L00633).

GHK-Cu is not named on WADA's 2026 Prohibited List. WADA's S0 class covers any substance without government approval for human use, so Sport Integrity Australia is the body to confirm its status.

Where can I buy GHK-Cu peptide in Australia?

Yes. Peptides Collective sells GHK-Cu in Australia for laboratory research use only, at A$58 for 50mg, with a certificate for every batch. GHK-Cu is not named in the Poisons Standard. Schedule 4 lists copper compounds for human use, with exceptions; whether a GHK-Cu product falls inside that entry has not been confirmed.

Is GHK-Cu a prescription medicine in Australia?

GHK-Cu is not named in the Poisons Standard. Schedule 4 lists copper compounds for human use, with exceptions; whether a GHK-Cu product falls inside that entry has not been confirmed. Peptides Collective sells it for laboratory research use only.

Is GHK-Cu banned in sport?

GHK-Cu is not named on WADA's 2026 Prohibited List. WADA's S0 class covers any substance without government approval for human use, so Sport Integrity Australia is the body to confirm its status.

What is the CAS number for GHK-Cu?

The CAS number for GHK-Cu is 89030-95-5. Its PubChem CID is 71587328.

How long does an unopened GHK-Cu vial keep?

A sealed vial of lyophilised powder keeps to the date on its label when stored frozen, dry and dark. Once reconstituted, keep the solution at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and record the date on the label.

Does every GHK-Cu batch have a certificate?

Yes. Every GHK-Cu batch is tested by [lab] before it goes on sale, and the certificate is published under the batch number printed on the vial. The current batch certificate is [pending].

Where is GHK-Cu shipped from?

Orders ship tracked from Western Australia. Orders placed before [cut-off] leave the same business day. Delivery estimates by state are on the shipping page.

What purity is the current GHK-Cu batch?

The current GHK-Cu batch certificate is [pending]. When it is published, it reports purity by HPLC to three decimal places and confirms identity by mass spectrometry.

Which solvent reconstitutes GHK-Cu?

BAC Water (sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol) is the usual laboratory solvent. Dilute acetic acid is an alternative for peptides that dissolve poorly in water. Record the solvent, volume and resulting concentration on the vial label.

How much does GHK-Cu cost in Australia?

GHK-Cu costs A$58 for 50mg at Peptides Collective, in Australian dollars. Each price is per vial of lyophilised powder.
